- Trauma
- Betrayal
- Sudden Death
- Doctor’s diagnosis
- Work situations – how treated
- ·Grief
- Death
- Physically ill
- Situations not dealt with
- Emotions not dealt with
How to recognize:
- Repeated emotions or patterns
- Emotions coming out sideways
- Reactions to situations – should be a 3 and it’s registering higher
- Ask what is this emotion? Sad, anger, guilt, feel like I am not being heard, etc.
- Why do I feel this way?
- What is the root? What is the memory?
How to get to the root:
- Spend time with God and ask Him to reveal you heart
- Ask Him to reveal the root and the memory and situation this issue came in through
- Once you have the memory, seek the Lord to show you the different layers. Why is this memory a problem?
- You may have dealt with this issue before but it may have layers of healing that is needed. We see in part. Ask God to show the root.
- Ask for forgiveness or forgive anyone who has hurt you
- Plead the blood of Jesus over the memory and the wound
- Ask Holy Spirit to truly heal all the areas in the wound and replace it with his power to truly overcome this issue.
